Out with the new, in with the old

I thought I had made my website look retro and that it was cool.

That was until I loaded it on IE5 on my beautiful new/old Pentium III from the year 2000. The background and other stuff was missing, and I don't like it.

Although I did write HTML back then in that era, as a teenager, it looks like I had forgotten which features of HTML/CSS belong to which era. So I've used background scaling, rounded corners and other modern stuff, without proper fallbacks.

Well it was all done in a bit of a hurry in little free time, but I'm going to be fixing this, and trying and make it look the same on old machines and browsers as in more modern ones.

Because there was nothing wrong with early HTML with almost no CSS. We just added more stuff, but I don't need such stuff on this website.
